I am a mature, reliable, confident Administrator/Freelance Writer with exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills. Able to exhibit confidentiality, discretion, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.

My time as a Personal Assistant gave me the experience, strong work ethic, qualities, and determination to excel within the role. I have good communication skills, whether written, verbal, or active listening skills.

My creativity gives me the ability to write on multiple topics therefore I can tackle any topic that you can supply or I would come up with my own ideas when the situation calls for it.

I always take time to edit my own work to ensure that my final copy is ready for print or submission and never turn in incomplete documents.

From January 2023 to April 2023 I volunteered at my church, WOLEF, as an Editor in writing a Biography of our Bishop Dr. Samuel Mbugua, which is currently being printed and will be launched in a month's time. I was involved with the following;

·      Visiting locations that were important and meaningful to him

·      Conducting interviews with him and those close to him,

·      Listen to the recording, transcribe, and translate to English because the interview was done in Kikuyu dialect. This was Verbatim transcription of over 30 hours of audio recordings

·      Wrote a draft from the raw transcription

·      Proofread the draft - correcting and editing

·      Formatted the transcript - changing fonts, additional headers, titles, and page numbers and even splitting the text into coherent paragraphs

I want to become a Writer simply because this is the role I am most comfortable in, and my natural skills, qualities, and attributes are all geared up for becoming a highly competent and productive Writer.
