Joshua Fagbemi

As a 21st Century Writer, I have as such gathered experience in this field for the past 4-5 years. I had pitched myself in both Campus Journalism and Mainstream Journalism over the years both as a Freelance and Volunteer for Media Outlets and Press Organizations.

As a student of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, I had operated as both a Campus Journalist and Freelance Content and Article Writer in the City of Ibadan and Nigeria at large.

I have had my articles - close to 300 - published in Media and News outlets like City Scenes Magazines, Polity Reporters, Campus News, Independence Hall Press Organization, University of Ibadan, Assesa Press Organization, University of Ibadan, Peacepace Initiative and Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan.

I have serves as Editor, Editor-in-Chief, News Writer, Features Writer, Politics Writer, Poet and Content Creator in all the above named organization. Currently, I am the Editor-in-Chief of Assesa Press and the General Secretary of Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan.

I have also won couples of award which some are; Most Energetic Campus Journalist (2023), Best Features Writer of the Year (2023), Press Man of the Year Award (2023), Best Editor of the Year (2020), Overall Outstanding Journalist of the Year (2020).

As part of my ability and dedication to what I do, I was chosen by City Scenes Magazines to interview the Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, in January 2023 which the interview was published in February 2023.

What has kept me on my toes are determination, open mindedness to always learn and the show of loyalty to service
