ERIKA JOHANNA BENITEZ CRIADO
Strong research skills, dissemination and writing different topics.
I'm a Social Communicator, with studies in International Cooperation. Recently, I finished my Master's Degree in Culture of Peace, conflicts, education, and Human Rights.
Actually, I live in Spain. Here my last work was as a consultant in a non-profit NGDO, for writing a diagnostic of an Edu-communication project and the formulation of an institutional strengthening project for the Andalusian Cooperation Agency. Besides, I worked for 12 years in a non-profit organization that creates alliances with public, private, and International Cooperation entities to develop social projects in the most vulnerable places in Colombia. In my position, I worked on large-scale projects, being in charge of managing large budgets and monitoring key indicators. Specifically, I supported the implementation of government policies like: overcoming poverty, economic and self-employment initiatives for vulnerable people, peace process, peace building, and illicit crops leadership programs (UNODC). I was in charge of the communications area of the entity, in order to ensure the visibility of the project's actions and results.
Since October of last year, I write articles for the Latin American Post in the health and wellness and entertainment sections. I'm very interested to continue exploring writing because I consider that all my work experiences could be very useful to understand different contexts, analyze, research, and write interesting texts.
